The second “Librarians Live-Tweeting a Movie” of 2013!

[I stand corrected. Thanks to @SimonXIX for pointing out that our live-Tweeting of “Return of the Killer Tomatoes” was indeed in 2013. Thus proving that movie is literally forgettable.]

Ready to get your snark on again in 2013?

The next “Librarians Live-Tweeting a Movie” will be on Saturday, March 23rd at 20:00 GMT.

What time is that where you are? Check for your local time here

The original title of this movie is, “The 51st State.” However, it is known in the United States as, “Formula 51.” It’s from 2001 and is rated “R” by the MPAA and “18” by the BBFC. So, if you have sensitive ears, this movie may not be for you.

Starring Samuel L. Jackson, describes the movie as, “An American master chemist plans to score big on a once in a lifetime drug deal. All does not go as planned and he is soon entangled in a web of deceit.” Who doesn’t love a web of deceit?!

1. Start the movie at precisely 20:00 GMT on Saturday, March 23rd.
2. Use #lib51 in your Tweets.
3. Don’t be mean or disrespectful to others in your Tweets.  It’s all about the movie.
4. It’s helpful, but not required, to alert your Twitter followers that you are participating.

Hope to “see” you in the Twitterverse!

My copy of the DVD arrived today. And a librarian friend of mine will be staying at mine this weekend so she’ll be joining in the Tweeting too! She also went to uni in Liverpool, so like me, might be able to spot some continuity errors – should there be any!

  2. That’s great! I look forward to “meeting” your friend. We had the tomato food theme last time. Any food/drink go with this theme? Or, just Tweet your movie snack of choice?

Don’t think there is a theme to go with this one… there is food eaten in the film but don’t recall what. Maybe special points if you eat Scouse or fish n chips?
